In addition, a wide range of larger hotel and conference facilities are available in the area including The Hanover International in Daventry, Fawsley Hall Hotel, and Hellidon Lakes Hotel and Country Club, near Daventry, and the Coombe Abbey Hotel, Binley, Brownsover Hall Hotel, Rugby and The Hilton Hotel, Walsgrave, near Coventry.

The nearest towns to DIRFT Logistics 2 are Daventry and Rugby. Daventry provides a wide range of shopping facilities dominated by local occupiers and Rugby, which is a thriving market town, provides numerous high street retailers including Marks & Spencer, Boots and Woolworths.

On a larger scale, extensive city centre shopping facilities can be found at Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton and Milton Keynes.

Local shopping facilities are provided in many of the surrounding villages with Post Office services in Kilsby, Crick, Barby, Clifton upon Dunsmore, Hillmorton, Long Buckby and West Haddon. In addition, local general stores are to be found in all of the villages mentioned.

Multi-screen cinemas can be found in Rugby, Daventry, Coventry, Northampton and Leicester and locally, there are theatres in Rugby and Daventry.

Sports Clubs

Almost every type of sporting activity is catered for in the area. Championship football can be seen at Leicester City and Coventry City Football Clubs and League Two football at Northampton Football Club.

Premiership Rugby can be seen at Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints with the Coventry and Rugby clubs both performing in the First Division.
